On The Sixth Day

On The Sixth Day looks down over a Manchester junction on a wet day — red brick railway arches running across the middle of it, cranes and glass towers stacked up behind, and the road throwing the light back off the tarmac.

MANCHESTER is set into the brickwork of the viaduct. HIDDEN FIGURES runs vertically up the right-hand edge, and a bee is worked into the dark ground beside it.
