All's Well Next the Sea

All's Well Next the Sea is low tide at Wells-next-the-Sea — the Granary standing square above the quay with its gantry reaching out over the road, the fishing fleet settled into the shallows, and a windmill off to the right under a pink sky.

Four things are worked into the collage. WELLS-NEXT-THE-SEA sits on a sign along the harbour front. Columns of newsprint become the texture of the quay wall. GRANARY runs vertically down through the reflection in the water. And along the sand on the left, in red, the word spoonbill.
