The raincoat/umbrella clad commuter is a popular theme throughout my London scenes - people are as important as the landmarks when it comes to depicting a scene and creating authenticity. Here, and perhaps unusually for me, they become the focus -  I have deliberately used flat areas of black cut out from magazines so that they stand out from the heavy overlaying of paint.
